Cyanotype
This series explores the possibilities of alternative photographic processes through cyanotype sun prints. The color blue, evoking the vastness of the sky and sea, symbolizes intuition, imagination, and inspiration. The prints are created by placing photo negatives or organic objects directly on watercolor paper and exposing them to ultraviolet light. To deepen the richness of the images, many were then dipped in natural botanical toners, resulting in darker, more saturated hues. Finally, some prints were hand-painted with gum bichromate or watercolors, adding a layer of personal interpretation and vibrancy to each piece.
