Impressions

This series investigates the creative potential of alternative photographic processes (cyanotype) through the use of imagery, found objects, and layered exposures. Cyanotype is a printing process that uses sunlight and UV chemicals to create monochromatic prints in a deep shade of Prussian blue. To enhance the visual depth and tonal richness, many prints were treated with natural toners, yielding deeper, more saturated hues of blue and gold. Select works were further embellished with hand painting or embroidery, introducing a unique layer of personal interpretation and tactile vibrancy to each piece.
